Carol Jean Burrow, 69, of Greenville, SC, formerly of DuBois PA, died Sat., Dec. 29, 2012 in Greenville.
A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Temple Baptist Church in DuBois with Pastor Montel Wilder officiating. Burial was held in the Meade Chapel Cemetery in Knoxdale. Leo Nedza Funeral Home of DuBois was in charge of arrangements.
Carol was born June 14, 1943 in Burwell, NE, to Floyd and Mildred (Johnson) Boilesen. She graduated in 1961 from Ord High School in Ord, NE.
On Oct. 5, 2005, she married David Burrow. Her husband died Oct. 5, 2005.
Carol had a Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. She was a housewife, schoolteacher and Baptist missionary for many years.
Carol was a member of Temple Baptist Church in DuBois. She was a secretary, pianist and leader in ladies bible studies.
Survivors include two children, Joshua Burrow of Greenville, SC, and Delora Bradish of Bradford; two sisters, Ila Ballou of Kearney, NE, and Janice Masters of Taylors, SC; a brother, Gaylord Boilesen of Ord, NE; and seven grandchildren, Nathaniel, Katherine and Olivia Burrow, Jared, Ethan and Micah Bailey and Maggie Peters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, and two daughters, Connie Bailey and Karen Peters.
