Jean Wulf, 75, of Pierce, NE, died Thurs., Feb. 7, 2013, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Tues., Feb. 12 at the United Methodist Church in Pierce with her son, Rev. Jeff Wulf officiating. Shirley Hetrick was the pianist and the congregation sang. Pallbearers were Steve Anderson, Paul Real, Brian Rutebories, Brad Spreeman, Doug Sutton and Marshall Waller. Burial was in the Tilden City Cemetery. Stonacek Memorial Chapel in Pierce was in charge of arrangements.
Jean was born Dec. 21, 1937, at Ewing, NE, to Merle Austin and Bernice Cecelia (Kinney) Schilousky. She graduated from Orchard High School in 1956.
On May 15, 1960, she married James R. Wulf at the Methodist Church in Neligh. After their marriage, Jim was in the US Navy and the family moved to the East and West Coasts for over 10 years. They then moved to Lincoln and lived there nine years, and then to Pierce in 1975. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing in the Black Hills. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pierce.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Wulf of Pierce; children, Julie and husband, Skip Schleicher of Pierce, Janet and husband, Brad Morton of Columbus, and the Rev. Jeff and wife, Rhonda Wulf of Ord; six grandchildren, Adam Schleicher, Scott, Ryan and Megan Morton, and Jenna and Jacob Wulf; siblings, Larry and wife, Bev Schilousky of Neligh, Dianne and husband, Jim Anderson of Clearwater and Bill and wife, Sharol Schilousky of Neligh; and a stepsister, Nancy and husband, Claude Badura of Kearney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, Omar Johnson and a sister, Phyllis Brandt.
